workshop for KS3-5 students to develop their resilience to extremist narratives
Service Description
This workshop can be delivered to a whole year group or individual classes. It aims to guide students to explore their own identity and discuss ways that identity can be misused to divide communities. By the end of the session students should: - know what identity means to them - understand how issues surrounding identity can be used to divide communities - explore how individuals can be exploited because of their feelings/understanding of identity and community - recognise how they can protect themselves from being exploited from divisive narratives The session will be adapted to suit the key stage of the pupils being delivered to.
